I have avoided taking manually-focused shots with my camera up til now. Why? Because I could never see very well through the viewfinder--not clearly enough to ensure reasonable focus anyway, a failing I attributed to my eyes, not my camera.
Well, it turns out it's really my brain that's to blame. If I had read the manual that came with my camera a little more closely, I would have noticed the instructions for adjusting the diopter. But thanks to Pioneer Woman's Miss Booshay, I now know I don't have to live with auto-focus forever!
Can't wait to see what this will do for my photography.
