If I don't get this submitted, I'll be at it all day again tomorrow. I meant to do something with the background, but it's late and...well, I don't know that he needs anything to distract you.
Given that I've never considered myself an artist (until recently) and I've never done a portrait in my life (the closest I can come is dollz, which ain't quite the same thing) I think I did a damn fine job here. At least, I am satisfied that he looks like he always has in my head. Mostly satisfied, anyway. The skin tone isn't quite right, but I can live with it.
It's been a learning experience, that's for sure. I looked at so many different tuts that I can't begin to credit them. But I will credit ~bextcstock for the hair brushes. I did use a celebrity photo for a reference, but I changed enough of the features that I doubt you can tell who it was. If you guess, I'll, uh, give you a cookie or something.
And thanks to Keri for previewing this last night!
